Avatars are Bentley's modes of attack when hacking into computer systems. He uses multiple avatars throughout all the Sly Cooper series. These do not include the player representations from Alter Ego or Spark Runner.

DescriptionEdit

Sly Cooper and the Thievius RaccoonusEdit

Bentley used an avatar in the mission "Bentley Comes Through" in Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus.

It had an appearance that closely resembled Bentley himself, and it fired large, green missiles.

If the player currently had a Lucky Charm, it could be seen on the back of this avatar as well. It had a health bar with five slots. If the player were to take damage and lose the Lucky Charm, Bentley's avatar would regain a small amount of health.

Sly 2: Band of ThievesEdit

Bentley used an upgraded avatar in multiple jobs in Sly 2: Band of Thieves. It was smaller and more iconic than his original from the first game, and it fired small white missiles. It took several hits to take down the red barrier nodes and several other enemies.

During the mission "Bentley/Murray Team Up," Bentley's avatar was slightly upgraded to fire larger missiles that would ricochet off of walls, that way he could take down difficult enemies from around corners.

Sly 3: Honor Among ThievesEdit

The same avatar from Sly 2 was used in multiple jobs in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.

Bentley's avatar was identical in appearance to his previous one in Sly 2, but fired stronger missiles that could take barrier nodes in one hit. The missiles also appeared slightly larger.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in TimeEdit

Main article: System Cracker

Bentley used multiple avatars during several jobs in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. These avatars included the Shell Code, Panzer Code and Speeder Code.

These three avatars were unique to each other: the Shell Code behaved similarly to the avatars of the previous games, the Panzer Code behaved like a tank and the Speeder Code was quick and could draw a damaging field. The colors and abilities of these avatars were based respectively on Bentley, Murray and Sly Cooper's abilities.
