Crackshot is a move that was created and mastered by "Tennessee Kid" Cooper. It is featured in the game Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. This is a technique that Tennessee did not include in the Thievius Raccoonus, and had no challenges relating to it in the Cooper Vault, reasonably because Tennessee would be the only Cooper to use a ranged cane.

Crackshot allows Tennessee to slow down time and mark targets with his rifle, then take them out in quick succession. This can only be done in bursts of up to six shots. Regardless how many targets you've locked on to, up to the maximum of six, the Gadget Meter will always be fully depleted after Tennessee fires.

How to use[edit | edit source]

To execute Crackshot mode, you must hold down r2 and aim at a guard or breakable object. A red skull and crossbones symbol will appear over them, and releasing r2 will cause Tennessee to shoot. This takes out guards in one hit. This move can only be used if Tennessee's Gadget Meter is full.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Crackshot mode is closely related to Dead Eye Targeting, and specifically the second level of Dead Eye Targeting, from the Rockstar San Diego game Red Dead Redemption.
  • Crackshot also works against doors that do not require use of it.
