Made from a mysterious metal alloy, this dragon claw grasps a gigantic, perfect pearl, a symbol of wisdom. However, some believe it is not meant to be a dragon's claw at all, but that of a gigantic owl.
― In-game description[src]

The Dragon Claw Statue is a treasure found in Turning Japanese of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. It is worth 236 coins, and has a time limit of 20 to be returned to the safe house before it disappears.

Description[]

The statue's metal and shape make direct references to Sly Cooper's old nemesis, Clockwerk.

Location[]

It is found behind a door, located above a waterfall. Getting this treasure requires the usage of the Samurai Costume. Use the shield to reflect a fireball back at the door to open it.

Trivia[]

  • The base of the statue reads "Clockwerk was here."
  • Clockwerk's Eye is another treasure that makes references to Clockwerk in Thieves in Time.
  • An earlier description of the Dragon Claw Statue was: "This solid gold dragon claw grasps a gigantic, perfect pearl, a symbol of wisdom. The claw itself is made form a mysterious compound perfect for reconstructing a mechanical owl."[1]
  • The obvious implication here being that the Dragon Claw Statue is comprised of the same material as Clockwerk's body.
