Golden retrievers were enemy guards faced by Sly Cooper and the gang in "Dead Men Tell No Tales" of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. They served LeFwee as rooftop guards.
Description[]
The golden retrievers had yellow fur, wore a white shirt with a green vest, red pants and a red bandana on their head. Their weapons of choice were two swords, which they used at close range, and a flintlock pistol, which they used at long range. They could block attacks with their swords, and throw rocks if the player was unreachable.
Known Golden Retriver guards[]
- Twitchy Ned : One of the three lieutenant who keeps Cantankerous Tim’s hat, having fled by returning the hat to Sly for Black Spot Pete.
- An unnamed golden retriever guard who serves as LeFwee's first-mate and managed to destroy the Hover-Spectrometer, then thrown into the water by LeFwee for believing that this flying disc is a bad omen (deceased).
- First-Mate Jones : A golden retriever guard serving as first-mate for LeFwee after he murdered the previous golden retriever guard who serves as first-mate, killed by Crusher to distract the pirates to help Bentley saved Penelope (deceased).
Trivia[]
- These guards' sounds and animations resemble the rooftop dingoes from Yuendumu.
- They will sometimes fall asleep on the slant of a rooftop and end up falling to their deaths.
