Hammerhead sharks were animals that appeared in Dead Men Tell No Tales of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.

Along with great white sharks, they are enemies for Dimitri Lousteau to avoid in "Deep Sea Danger" and other diving missions. Dimitri had to kill five hammerhead sharks in order to collect their bones. The bones would then be ground down into a powder and added to the Cooper Gang's gunpowder supply, allowing full use of the cannon blast collars that Dimitri had previously collected. Hammerhead sharks are attracted to yellow dart fish; Dimitri collected two of them and used this weakness to draw the sharks out.
Hammerhead sharks swim around rather aimlessly, but will turn and charge Dimitri if he gets too close. They could be taken out with two shots from Dimitri's harpoon gun.
