Police Headquarters is a large building used by Inspector Carmelita Fox and her police forces in both Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.


Sly Cooper and the Thievius RaccoonusEdit

At the start of the game, the Cooper Gang's first task was to break into Police Headquarters and steal a secret police file on Sly Cooper and the Fiendish Five. Once Sly stole the file, he was soon confronted by Carmelita, who fired at the raccoon as he tried to escape to the van.[1]

Sly 3: Honor Among ThievesEdit

A new Police Headquarters was established in Venice, Italy. It is here that Carmelita and her mercenaries operate. Upon Sly and Bentley's arrival in Venice, Sly was tasked with sneaking into the building via the air vent and try to find some clues to Murray's whereabouts. Here, he found Dimitri Lousteau still in jail. Sly broke him out, that way he could help him find Murray. Sly attracted Carmelita's attention and led her outside, while Dimitri made his escape.[2]


The Police Headquarters in Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus has a bright blue neon sign that reads "Le Police," French for "The Police." On the roof is a small water tower, along with several breakable items. It has an air vent which Sly used to sneak his way inside, and inside the shaft are yellow lasers. There are a few small hallways on the interior. Inspector Fox's old office here is behind a red door, while other rooms have green doors. Carmelita's office is where the first vault in the game is located, and there are several breakables in there as well. Just outside of her office is a fire escape that leads down to a parking lot packed police cars and barricades.

The Police Headquarters in Sly 3 has more discernible features such a police sirens placed on the roof, a police star symbol shown above the front door and on the inside, a jail cell, which Dimitri was placed in. Its most noticeable feature is the large glass dome on top, which is made of glazed tile, making it impossible to climb. It is the one feature that the building shares with Octavio's opera house, except here, it is more circular shaped, as opposed to the oval shape of the opera house dome.

On the inside are several tables which Carmelita's mercenaries sat down at when she gave her presentation on Octavio's schemes. Carmelita's office is found on the side of the room opposite the location of the jail cell, and unlike her office from the first game, it is not entirely enclosed, being located inside a glass wall, several of which are seen around the room. It was there that Sly found the key to unlock Dimitri's cell. The ceiling lights are also known to flicker on and off on occasion. Carmelita also has a guard standing watch over the front entrance.
