Temporal Lock is a power-up that Bentley and Murray can use in Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, respectively. It costs 2000 coins in Sly 2, and becomes available during "Anatomy for Disaster." It costs 1000 coins in Sly 3, and becomes available during day one of "A Cold Alliance."

Description

The Temporal Lock has the same functionality as the Stun move for Sly Cooper from Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus: it briefly freezes the time around you, allowing you to move around uninterrupted by guards. It is done by pressing the assigned button (, or ), provided you have enough in your Gadget Meter to do so.

Trivia

• Murray is most likely using his Dreamtime training to use his version of the Temporal Lock. The purple blurred effect on the screen and the music that plays during the move are also used whenever The Guru uses any of his Dreamtime abilities in gameplay.
