Sly: This was a good plan, Bentley. Now we can just sit back and watch the fireworks!
Bentley: Thank you, I pride myself on deviousness these days. With her ape guard under fire, there's a ninety-three percent chance that Carmelita will arrive and take out the entire Vincenetti gang.
Sly: Devious!

"Turf War!" was a job for Inspector Carmelita Fox in "An Opera of Fear" of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.

Background[edit | edit source]

Sly and Bentley bait Carmelita and her mercenaries into taking out Octavio's security forces.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

Octavio hired the Vincenetti Gang for protection during Carnevale, which prompted the Cooper Gang to find a way to get rid of them. Bentley led a member of the Vincenetti Gang to the police station. Meanwhile, Sly knocked on the front door of the police station and insulted the cops inside using his Italian accent. His insult brought Lt. Gronk out just as Bentley lured the Vincenetti goon to the station. Seeing the goon as the one who insulted him, Gronk attacked while Sly and Bentley quietly ran away and observed.

Bentley predicted that with Gronk under fire, there was a 93% chance Inspector Fox would come out to help him and take out the whole Vincenetti gang in the process. Sly and Bentley reflected on Bentley's development into a devious planner. Just like Bentley said, Carmelita came out to help Gronk fend off the goons.

After taking out the Vincenetti thugs by the police station, Carmelita and Gronk rushed to the other side of town to take care of more. Once all of the gang members on the other side of the city were taken out, more appeared by the police station once again. Once they were defeated, Carmelita commended her lieutenant on a job well done.

With the Vincenetti Gang gone, there were less obstacles in the Cooper Gang's mission to sabotage Octavio's plans and get Murray back on the team.
