Your Wiki Manager (27 May 2019)
Hello everyone. For those of you who do not know me, my name is Shrev, and I have been a bureaucrat of this wiki since 2010. You may have received a notification about the new Fandom Wiki Manager program. I am happy to announce that I have been recently hired to be a part of this program, and am consequently the wiki manager for the Sly Cooper Wiki. I will continue my administrative duties here; additionally, I am your direct contact to full-time FANDOM staff, should it be necessary. As always, you can contact me on my message wall, or via the Wiki's Discord server if you have any questions.
As always, happy editing!
10 Years! (2018 March 17)
Believe it or not, the Wiki turned 10 years old last week, on 11 March 2018, with its first ever edit penned by its founder, Thai420. Since that point, we've come a long way to make the wiki what it is, and if I'm being honest, it's amazing.
Back when this wiki was created in 2008, the series was at an interesting standstill. Sly 3 had left us with an ominous message through time. The PS3 era was in full swing, but no swinging raccoon was to be found. Was the series forgotten, or had it found its end?
Nonetheless, the wiki moved along, covering swift ground and adding page after page, tidbit after tidbit, of anything and everything that could be found in the Sly Cooper games. Edits flowed by and continued our love for the sneaky raccoon and his…
Early Access Demo - My Thoughts
Hey guys, this blog post is mainly for sharing how I thought of the Early Access Demo. I'll get to the meat: I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. For all the work I had put in to get the demo, I felt like there wasn't enough to reward me. Here's why.
- 1 Gameplay
- 1.1 Camera
- 1.2 Binocucom
- 1.3 Thief Meter
- 2 Graphics
- 3 Voices
- 4 Conclusion
My main irk was in this category. Sure, Sly can still run on tightropes, use his cane like he has been, and still has his stealth, but I honestly hated the camera. I was able to invert the camera, but with the cost of also inverting the control of the arrows you shoot with the Archer Costume. Considering how important Arrows were to this level, I was not happy with how I had to think about the arrow's direction goi…

Gamescom, Salim, Arabia, and More! (8-15-12)
Hey Wikians, this is Shrev64, bringing you your Thievius News Update! As most of you probably know, a new trailer for Thieves in Time was shown yesterday, and came with quite a lot of information. If you watched the trailer, you would have noticed that a new ancestor was unveiled to be playable. This was later confirmed to be Salim al-Kupar, Sly's Arabian ancestor. The background behind Salim is that he is nearing retirement, however something's stopping him, which brings him back into the thieving industry.
Salim comes with his own ancestral technique, the Climbing Cobra! This move allows Salim to quickly climb ropes and poles to evade attacks. Salim also comes with his own paraglider: his flying carpet. This allows Salim to glide across gaps…
