Hey Wikians! It's Shrev64, updating you with the news of the Wiki and Thieves in Time.

Galleth waiting for action

Hopefully most of you watched the E3 shows, and while reveals like The Last of Us and God of War: Ascension were exciting, we all were looking forward to more Thieves in Time stuff (at least, that's what I was looking forward to). Mat Kraemer showed fans more gameplay of Sir Galleth Cooper running around in the Medieval England hub, as well as some awesome pickpocketing and charge attacks. Some attacks introduced was the Shield Bash, the Catapult Charge Technique, and a charged slam attack.

Sanzaru also added some final touches on Carmelita's gameplay against the Mechanical Menace, such as an active Thief Meter and some touches on graphics. Sanzaru also revealed some Safehouse footage with Galleth in it, and also sneaked out a whole walkthrough to the "Eye in the Sky" mission.

Thieves in Time also showed off its new minigame "Alter Ego". This is essentially a co-op hacking game similar to that of Hackathon from Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, except for the fact that both players now share one health bar. A new collectible, Secret Sly Masks, were also unveiled. It has been stated that these collectibles are very difficult to find, and can be anywhere, from the main hub to deep inside a minigame. There are 50 within the whole game. On the note of collectibles, Kraemer also stated that the Vault unlocked by the 30 Clue Bottles in each hub would include a permanent upgrade for ALL characters. A little different from Sly 2, eh?

In addition, Kraemer and Glen Egan showed off the Vita, and went revealed a few more details as to how cross-play between the Vita and the PS3 actually works. Sanzaru also confirmed that the game is in a "state that can be played through from start to finish", but are going through it and fixing up any bugs they encounter.

The only downside of this E3 is, what I think, the most important part: a release date. Yep, as usual, Sanzaru's keeping the release date a secret, only stating "Fall 2012". Overall, however, I think we can all agree that this was an enjoyable E3.

Now then, that was some good gaming updates. I also have a few Wiki updates to state. Firstly, you may have noticed that the Main Page was updated once again. The Featured Loot and Featured Quote items will no longer exist, but now the Affiliates section won't take up as much space (Thanks Mousekat!)

Also, Mousekat is the wiki's third bureaucrat! He has been an incredible asset to the wiki, and a noble member of the Staff. He has done an incredible amount of contributions in just the nine months he's been here! Congratulations Mousekat!

Congratulations to our Moderator Mark, also! His edits have been very credible and respectable. Congrats!

Lastly, I'd like to bring your attention to one of our good bloggers, Hellotyler. Tyler has been blogging for a while at his website, most recently about Thieves in Time. I'd recommend you go take a look.

Well, that's all from me. I'll be on the lookout for any more upcoming news. Until then, enjoy editing on the Sly Cooper Wiki!
